Screen Production and Development Association of New Zealand

SPADA (the Screen Production and Development Association of New Zealand) represents the interests of independent film and television producers on all issues affecting the business and creative aspects of independent film and television production in New Zealand. Members include feature film, television production, animation, TV commercial and interactive media companies as well as services and facilities providers. SPADA represents and advocates for the industry on government policy, investment and agency issues; negotiates on commercial terms of trade and industrial guidelines and runs the premier networking and upskilling event for the New Zealand screen industry, the annual SPADA conference in November.
