The Screenwriters Association (Singapore)

The Screenwriters Association (Singapore) is a volunteer organisation founded in May 2000 to support the Singapore film, television and multimedia industries and to promote the art of screenwriting.

Our members include independent producers, talented young filmmakers, students, and aspiring and professional writers. These are people who desire to make a difference here as we shape the fledgling screen industry in Singapore.

They have just launched Asia's first script registry service is for Asian writers and filmmakers wanting to protect your intellectual property rights in the growing Asian film market. By providing date-time stamp protection for their creative works, the Asian Script Repository gives an additional layer of safeguard that augments the pre-existing copyright protection of their works.

The joining fee is S$200 and includes the entrance fee, a subscription fee for one year, and a Writer's Legal Package. The annual renewal fee is S$50.
