Seoul Film Commission

Seoul is the center of the Korean film industry. Based on the systematic support of Seoul city with some other related agencies, SFC, which opened service 23 April 2002, tries to make Seoul a convenient city for filming providing support as a liaison for shooting locations, all permission support, and access to a plentiful database. SFC joined AFCI in February 2003, and has tried to attract foreign film that may promote about the Seoul, and causes to make tour industry develop with related industry activity, location producing expense, and more employ which may help local economy with contribution.

Location film support is offered to any film that applies to the Commission. Services include providing equipment or human resource support such as police and fire personnel; broadcasting and promotion to mitigate public grievance; and support in obtaining permission or serve as a liaison with the location. Other assistance is upon request.
