Seoul International Youth Film Festival

Since 1999,

The Seoul International Youth Film Festival has provided a venue for youths to share their culture via films and media education. It grows truly into an international youth film festival for youngsters from domestic and abroad.

12th anniversary in 2010,

The festival aims to promote the broader exchanges with gifted youths and establishes a network to improve their competitive edge in the relevant fields. To this end, the SIYFF develops the way for the young to access to the mature media culture.

The SIYFF introduces international films of youths, as exploring budding works writer-director’s.

Along with this, it presents youth with youth-made films and distributes them overseas so that global film audiences could watch them.

The SIYFF provides great programs: screening of films about family and inner maturity of children, short films made by teenagers, the camp, media forums and a street festival. We are confident that our efforts have led the talented to nurtured in the film industry.
