Vietnam Film Association

This national association is dedicated to the development of the art of cinematography in Vietnam and the welfare of artists and technicians working in the cinema industry. The Association publishes the fortnightly World Cinema Magazine and has its own small film studio, Hãng phim Hội Diện ảnh Vietnam . The Association also runs a cinema auditorium which hosts the activities of its Cinema Club and organises the biannual Golden and Silver Kite Prizes, Vietnam 's equivalent of the Oscars.
