Yokohoma Film Commission

The Yokohama Film Commission was established in October 2000 in an effort to make a wider range of people aware of Yokohama's many attractive points through visual media. Since that time the film commission has responded to the varying needs of filmmakers throughout their production process in Yokohama. Having become a member of the AFCI in 2001, the commission has made its services such to encourage foreign filmmakers shooting in Yokohama, creating a location database featuring a variety of locations available for filming in the city.

If one is in Yokohama for production purposes, the Commission is able to assist in location scouting, accommodation, equipment rental and even catering.
