Zagreb Architects Society

Zagreb Architects Society (DAZ) – Društvo arhitekata Zagreba – is non-profit organisation, and professional association that develops and promotes Croatian architecture and urbanism, culture, space and environmental health. 

With a long history dating back to 1878, in 2017 DAZ had over 1,000 active members – prominent architects, urban planners, landscape architecture engineers and interior designers. DAZ's activities represent the interests of its members; it organises and conducts competitions in the field of architecture and urbanism, organises and prepares professional and educational programmes, and participates in the preparation of draft laws and regulations that affect the fate of architectural creativity. 

Its main activities include professional educational programmes in the field of architecture and urbanism, such as lectures and seminars, organising congresses, symposia, conferences, scientific and other meetings, exhibitions, and more.
