2011 Philippine International Guitar Festival and Competition

The Guitar Friends and Cultural Centre of the Philippines present the International Guitar Festival and Competition in January 2011 in Manila.

The 2011 Philippine International Guitar Festival and Competition will be held at the Little Theater, Cultural Center of the Philippines from January 27-30, 2011. This festival will be the BIGGEST event in Philippine Guitar History as it features more Concerts, Masterclasses, Workshops and Lectures, Festival Guitar Orchestra, Competition and Display of World Class Guitars.

With over $25,000 worth of prizes in Concert Guitars by World Class Luthiers, Cash Gifts, Concerts in the Philippines and Thailand, trophies and diplomas, and other merchandise...this is by far the BIGGEST Guitar Competition in the Philippines.

Guest artists are invited from Spain, Japan, Thailand, Greece, Czech Republic and the Philippines.

The Competition for solo classical guitar is open to all nationalities.
