The Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus, in collaboration with Rialto Theatre, is calling for applications from choreographers and/or dance companies for their 26th Cyprus Contemporary Dance Festival, from 1 to 22 June 2025, at the Rialto Theatre and the Nicosia Municipal Theatre in Limasssol, Cyprus. 

The Festival aims to attract audiences from all backgrounds and offer them the opportunity to attend a number of innovative works of internationally renowned choreographers and dance companies, thus contributing to the promotion of contemporary dance in Cyprus. At the same time, the Festival aims to strengthen international artistic dialogue and enhance the relations between the local and international contemporary dance communities.

Each proposal should include:

• Detailed information of every proposal in Greek or English
• Budget of each proposal 
• List of technical requirements
• Video of the complete performance via a link on Youtube or Vimeo
• Any other information considered helpful for the selection procedure

The Department of Contemporary Culture will fully fund the performance’s expenses included in the budget submitted with the application form. The maximum amount of funding is 30,000 EUR (including travel expenses, taxes and rights).
