3rd Guanlan International Print Biennial

Organised by the Guanlan Original Printmaking Base which also hosts residencies.
Guanlan International Print Biennial has been successfully conducted twice by Guanlan Original Printmaking Base. Now the third biennial in 2011 is coming up. We attained a big success in the previous two biennials due to the great support of artists from the entire world. This exhibition will focus on artistic and academic, and promote the creative and individuality in work style. Hope the high level and superior quality art works will be selected for the exhibition; we also hope that through the Guanlan International Print Biennial to promote the exchange of artists around the world and hope Guanlan International Print Biennial become the platform and window for people from the world to understand China, also for Chinese to understand the world. We invite you to participate in this exhibition, and sincerely hope that more and more artists come from different countries to participate in this exhibition and to see numerous great print art works.
Artists from abroad must fill out the registration form and send 1-2 works. See details for print sizes and other conditions. 200-300 works will be selected for the exhibition. Art works must arrive by deadline February 1 2011. 15 winning artists are invited to China to receive cash prizes.
Guanlan Original Printmaking Base also hosts artists residencies at the International Artists Village where 300 year old traditional Hakka Houses surrounded by lotus pond, bamboo, farmland and hills have hosted over 200 artists from 40 different countries to date.
