Lumen is more than a prize. All artists selected for the longlist, shortlist as well as the award winners are eligible for opportunities with Lumen Art Projects, our parent company, including commissions, exhibitions and events globally.
We know these are difficult times, with artists globally struggling with the effects of COVID-19 both personally and professionally. As a result, we have extended our 2020 Deadline to 12 June and cut the entry fee to US$38. We hope this will encourage you to dream up some incredible new work.
The Lumen Prize celebrates the very best art created with technology through a global competition, exhibitions and events worldwide run by Lumen Art Projects. Our annual juried competition draws entries from artists globally and has given away more than US$70,000 in prize money since its launch in 2012. Lumen Art Projects, a not-for-profit based in the UK, is dedicated to providing opportunities for artists who engage with technology globally through links with cultural venues, festivals and institutions globally.
