Artist Residency on the Science of Genome Editing at Max Delbrück Center in Berlin

None

International open call for an Artist Residency on the Science of Genome Editing at Max Delbrück Center in Berlin. STATE Festival invited project proposals from artists with an identified interest in the sciences. The residency takes place in July/August 2018.

STATE in partnership with Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC) are launching a paid Residency Program in Berlin, offering a unique opportunity for artists that are eager to advocate open science and foster a dialogue between a broader public and the science of genome editing.

The program is a two-month open science exchange program with MDC’s CRISPR-Cas9 research groups, designed to give the selected artist hands-on experience at their institute and lab facilities under the umbrella of over-all topic: genome editing research.

The residency will result in an exhibition at the STATE Studio, Berlin, in October 2018, and is part of the upcoming thematic program STATE of Longevity

We are a Berlin-based Science Art Festival calling for interdisciplinary artists to join a paid residency on genome editing at the Max Delbrück Center Berlin.

We would love to spread the call to artists with an identified interest in the sciences.
