Astragali Teatro | international theatre workshop in Italy

Astragali Teatro (Italy) is pleased to announce the launch of a Call for Participation in an International Theatre Workshop in Lecce (Italy) to be held 18-22 December.

The International Theatre Workshop is conducted by the artistic director of Astràgali Teatro Fabio Tolledi and by Astràgali’s trainers. The workshop is addressed to professional actors and actresses from Italy and abroad.

It is based on theatre practices related to physical training (awareness of body in acting, fundamentals on movement, awareness of space) and to vocal training (breath, relation between movement and voice, voice in relation to a text, singing). The workshop focuses on the creative work around the text of Hélène Cixous Savoir –included in the publication Voiles- which is the text of reference of the new, upcoming production of Astràgali Teatro entitled Veli.

The workshop is held from 18th to 22nd December at Astràgali Teatro, according to the following work schedule: on 18th December from 18h to 22h. The other days 8 hours per day.

Venue: Astràgali Teatro, Via Giuseppe Candido, 23- Lecce (Italy)

The participation in the workshop is free.
Travel and accommodation are at the participants’ own expense.

• An updated CV, including a phone number and email address
• A short letter of motivation (max. 400 words) specifying what you expect from the workshop
Important: Basic working knowledge of English is required. All correspondence will be per e-mail only, unless a specific request has been made to the organizers.

Admission Decision
All applicants will be notified of the decision a few days after the deadline, in order to allow participants to arrange their travel. If you are offered admission, you will need to accept the offer in writing.
