Australia–India Maitri Cultural Partnerships 2023–24 grants
The Centre for Australia–India Relations is calling for applications from Australia-based individuals, organisations or government bodies for the 2023–2024 Maitri Cultural Partnerships grants.
The Maitri Cultural Partnerships support greater exchange and collaboration between Australian and Indian creative industries. This grant opportunity requires applicants to develop, implement or deliver collaboration activities, events, or projects, or plan and implement peer-to-peer or organisation-to-organisation collaborations.
The Maitri Cultural Partnerships 2023–24 grants round is divided into three programmes:
- Maitri Cultural Partnerships Major Collaboration Grant: Supporting major Australian cultural organisations to engage Indian partners (funding up to 250,000 AUD)
- Maitri Cultural Partnerships First Nations Collaboration Grants: Cultural collaboration that supports First Nations' participation (funding up to 250,000 AUD)
- Maitri Cultural Partnerships Collaboration Grants: Supporting collaboration of small to medium sized Australian cultural organisations and community groups (funding up to 70,000 AUD)
Eligibility
To be eligible for this grant opportunity applicants must be a permanent resident of Australia and be located in Australia. The applicant should be an organisation, government body, or an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
