Austria: Scholarships for international artists

Within the framework of an application procedure, the Styrian Provincial Government offers foreign scholarships to young artists in all fields for the year 2011. These scholarships will be awarded upon proposal by a jury.

This program addresses free-lance artists in all fields from European and non-European countries who are looking for cooperation with Styrian artists. Recipients will be allowed € 850,- per month for extension studies and living expenses. The granted duration of scholarship will depend upon the scope of the cultural project.

The application should include a short curriculum vitae, place and duration of stay, an explanation or description of the respective project as well as the documentation of previous works (no originals).

It will be decided when the scholarship will start, individual schedules will be taken into consideration if possible.
