eMpowering Youth across ASEAN 2025 programme
The eMpowering Youth across ASEAN Cohort 5 is now open for applications, inviting civil society organisations and social enterprises in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Viet Nam working in Arts and Culture, Community Building/Empowerment, Education, and Environmental Diversity to partner with our youth volunteers across ASEAN.
The eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (eYAA) is a collaborative programme by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation dedicated to empowering youth and communities across the region.
The Programme provides youth (aged 19 to 35) with an experiential and educative learning platform through social volunteerism.
Eligibility
Any CSOs and SEs based in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam are welcome to apply. They must be working on issues under one of the thematic areas (including arts and culture), be experienced in working with local communities in the proposed project areas, and be experienced in working with youth and/or managing youth volunteer activities.
The Programme will provide the following:
- A grant of up to 25,000 USD per project to plan and implement for six months (three months of project preparation and three months of project implementation)
- Up to 10 youth volunteers from ASEAN Member States to run the project with each of the implementing partner
- Opportunity to attend the Regional Capacity Building Workshop in Bangkok with all the selected implementing partners and youth volunteers (all costs will be fully covered by the Programme)
