Florence Biennale | open call

Open call to artists and craftspeople for the X Florence Biennale 2015. The Biennale Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea di Firenze, or Florence Biennale is an event of excellence in the contemporary art scene, held October 17-25 2015.

Artworks can be submitted in the art categories:

Painting, sculpture, works on paper, photography, installation, video art, digital art, mixed media, ceramics, textile art, jewelry art, performance

Applications must be submitted by May 31st, 2015

The Biennale Internazionale d’Arte Contemporanea di Firenze, or Florence Biennale: artists from all over the world come to Florence, where they have the chance to experience cross-cultural dialogue and contribute to making this biennial a reference model.

The Florence Biennale, independent and self-financed through the support of the organizer, the participating artists and their sponsors, has come to the X Edition. In synergy with the City of Florence as well as other local institutions, the X Florence Biennale will be held in the heart of Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, from October 17th to 25th, 2015.

Artists are invited to participate through an open call

Being an artist participating in the X Florence Biennale is possible only through selection by the International Selection Committee after careful evaluation of your resume and the artworks presented.

You can still send a participation request in order to submit an application for examination to the Selection Committee.
