France and Luxembourg | Artists Development Programme 2024 residencies

The Artists Development Programme (ADP), from the European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute, is calling for applications from emerging European visual artists under 35 for their 2024 edition.

The programme is calling for the following:

  • Two visual artists from an EU Member State to work on the theme ‘Disruption: The Imprint of Man’
  • One visual artist from an EU Member State to work on the theme ‘The Future of Water’
  • One visual artist from Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Slovakia

This year the edition will take place in two locations: The Cité internationale des arts in Paris, and Neimënster (Neumünster Abbey Heritage Site for Culture) in Luxembourg. The selected participants will spend the first two months of their residency in Paris (from the beginning of September until the end of November 2024) and will move to Luxembourg.

Upon completion of the residency, the EIB may consider acquiring an artwork produced on-site by the artist.

What is provided?

  • The artist’s travel costs to Paris, from Paris to Luxembourg, and from Luxembourg
  • An 80 EUR flat-rate daily allowance to cover his/her living costs during the residency and all or part of the production costs
  • A living/working space
  • A contribution towards production of 500 EUR at the beginning of the residency and a success fee of 1,000 EUR at the end of the residency
