France | European Emerging Bands Contest EYE2023

European Youth Event (EYE) and JM International are calling for European young bands for the European Emerging Bands Contest @EYE2023, held in Strasbourg (France) and online, 9–10 June 2023.

At the European Parliament in Strasbourg and online, thousands of young people from all over the European Union and the world will share and shape their ideas on Europe’s future. It is a unique opportunity for 16 to 30-year-olds to interact, inspire each other and exchange their views with experts, activists, influencers and decision-makers.

During the event, participants will take part in activities co-created with institutions, international organisations, civil society, youth organisations and participants themselves, offering a space for discussions and networking. 

Who can apply?

Soloists and bands with a maximum of 6 members who follow these guidelines:

  • Band from European Union member countries, EU candidate countries or EFTA members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland)
  • Band members may not be over 30 years of age
  • Bands should play a genre that is accessible to a wide variety of people 

What can participants win?

Participants can win a 30-minute performance in front of thousands of young people at EYE2023. Accommodation and travel costs are fully covered by JM International. 

Winners will receive a cash prize of 800 EUR per band.
