Frieze Writer's Prize 2018
Frieze Writer's Prize 2018 is an annual international award to discover and promote new art critics. Open call for entries.
This year the prize will be judged by frieze senior editor Andrew Durbin, writer and editor of Kwani? Billy Kahora and artist Amy Sillman.
The winner will be commissioned to write a review for frieze and will be awarded GBP£2,000.
To qualify entrants must:
- Submit one unpublished 700-word review
- Not previously have published more than three pieces of writing on art
- Be over 18 years of age
- Submit their review in English (translations must be acknowledged)
The closing date for entries is 16 July 2018. Entries must be submitted as a word attachment to writersprize@frieze.com. Please do not send images. For further information on the above rules, please see the FAQs page
