Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award

None

Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award (HKYDTA), organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), aims to support and cultivate up-and-coming designers from Hong Kong with sponsorships granted for them to undergo overseas work attachment in renowned design companies to unleash their potential.

The awardees are entitled to undergo overseas work attachment for at least 6 to 9 months, which allows them to elevate their versatility and professional knowledge.

The current work attachments offered are in Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Japan, Denmark and the US. Applicants may also suggest other renowned design company.

All awardees will contribute to the development of Hong Kong’s design and creative industries by returning to Hong Kong after completion of their overseas work attachment. They will become ambassadors of HKYDTA to share their overseas experience.

Supported by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design and Hong Kong Design Institute, HKYDTA further nurtures the best local design practitioners and design graduates.

Our award judges are highly recognised local or international design professionals and experts, who possess extensive experience in design education and judging for local and international design awards.
