Hungary - Horse and Art Research Programme
Visual artists (painting, drawing, printmaking), art historians and researchers are invited to apply for the intensive 2-week residential 'Horse and Art' programme at HARP Horse and Art Research Program in Hungary. It is intended for artists who are interested in combining equine studies and visual arts.
They are looking for artists interested in horse culture, as well as riders interested in art. The work will include daily practice and lessons of horsemanship, horse archery, anatomically correct riding. Discussions and lectures will be held with the main focus on fine art research and a focus on printmaking and drawing. For the summer 2018 they will hold three different programs with a focus on drawing and printmaking. Guest lecturers will be invited, excursions will be organised, works made can be exhibited.
The dates are as follows:
- 22 May - 3 June 2018
- 27 June - 9 July 2018
- 27 July - 8 August 2018
The fee to be paid by selected international participants is 980 Euros which covers accommodation and activities programme.
