Indonesia | Artist in residence programme for French designers

CushCush Gallery (CCG) in Bali, Indonesia is calling for applications from French designers for their funded Artist Designer in Residence programme (ADIR), from 15 August to 19 September 2022.

Presented in collaboration with the French Embassy in Indonesia and the French Institute in Jakarta, the programme aims to join French design and Balinese crafts. French designers will be invited to immerse themselves into Bali’s unique culture while discovering the island’s natural materials and traditional techniques in a direct dialogue with Balinese artisans. Based on their experimentations and interpretations, the designers will create a collection of objects. The collection will be produced as a collaboration between the designers and CushCush Gallery and will be presented at various design fairs and events in Indonesia and France.
