Call for entries for the International Women Photographers Award / IWPA 2019. An opportunity for women photographers worldwide to get their work in front of IWPA international jury, win exposure in international cities such as Tokyo, Dubai, Paris or New Delhi and much more !
The International Women Photographers Award (IWPA) is announcing its open call for women photographers to submit their entries for the 2019 edition of the awards. The competition is open to women photographers from all over the world. A specially selected international jury comprising of eminent figures from the art and photography community will shortlist 11 candidates whose work will be on display in one of its partner’s city, which will house the opening exhibition.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on March 8th, 2019 to coincide with International Women’s Day. From the 11 finalists, one laureate will be announced as the official winner.
IWPA award Prize consists of a touring exhibition through the year for the 11 finalists and the laureate in key cities around the world, in Europe, Asia and Middle East, such as Paris, Tokyo, New Delhi or Dubai.
IWPA’s goal is to provide a platform for women photographers to exhibit their work to a wide and diverse audience. IWPA aim to help women photographer to gain global recognition in order for them to move forward creatively and professionally.
The IWPA is a photography award organized by the International Women Photographers Association, Antidote Art and Design, Myartspy in collaboration with Alliance Française Dubai
Participation in the IWPA Award is free and open to women photographers, minimum age of 18 years, regardless of nationality. If you are in a jurisdiction where the age of majority is above 18 years, you will obtain the consent of a parent/guardian to participate in the IWPA Award.
