There are two full-time positions at Asymmetry, London: Head of Programmes and Head of Publications.
Asymmetry is a non-profit independent organisation based in London that supports curators and researchers with Chinese and Sinophone backgrounds. In depth understanding of Chinese and Sinophone and/or Asian diasporic cultural contexts essential for both these positions.
Head of Programmes
The Head of Programmes will shape, develop and deliver Asymmetry’s programmes, including public programmes, collaborations with partner institutions and Fellows’ network alongside the Director and team. They are looking for an experienced individual who has strong interdisciplinary experience in curating and running public programmes and leading research. The candidate should have existing relationships with a wide network of potential collaborators within the arts ecosystem.
Head of Publications
The Head of Publications will shape, develop and deliver Asymmetry’s new publications strategy and drive the publications projects, alongside the Director and wider team. They are looking for an experienced individual to build publications as a new pillar of Asymmetry’s activities, with a focus on projects ranging from in-house published periodicals through to collaborations with partner institutions and independent publications. They will build and execute a strategy to advance the teams outputs aligning with Asymmetry’s vision, values and initiatives.
