London | call for UK based Korean artists for exhibition

None Call for artists to participate in the 5th UK Korean Artists Exhibition at the Korean Cultural Centre UK in London. This call is open to UK-based Korean artists engaged in the visual arts sector.

Each year the Korean Cultural Centre UK  promotes UK Based Korean Artists with an Exhibition at the KCCUK. This year’s theme is In Situ: Untold History of the KCCUK. To celebrate the 5th instalment of the annual London based Korean artists’ exhibition as well as to mark the milestone of half decade since the KCCUK’s establishment, prospective exhibitors are encouraged to show their inspiration and reinterpretation of the space of the Centre and time/history around the Centre.

UK based Korean artists engaged in the visual arts sector, including fine art, design, photography, illustration, media art, architecture etc. are welcome to join us. Medium not restricted except the height shall not exceed 3.2m in order to accommodate its installation within the gallery. Successful works shall try to reconsider in-situ works to dynamically reinterpret the space and the KCCUK’s five year history, relating to the original architecture.

The submitted works will be reviewed carefully by an advisory panel, the selected artists be announced in November 2012 along with the exhibition schedules.
