Mekong Cultural Hub local gathering hosts for 2024 Meeting Point
Mekong Cultural Hub (MCH) is calling for applications from people working with arts and society in Asia interested in hosting a Local Gathering as part of the 2024 Meeting Point programme, online and in-person in Hanoi, November 2023 – March 2024.
The programme is designed for grassroots event organisers and producers from Asia, open to connecting themselves and their communities to a regional community of practice. There will be 10 to 12 hosts selected.
A Local Gathering can be an activity such as a talk, workshop, seminar or creative action which engages people in connection and exchange in relation to the theme of the 2024 Meeting Point, “Perspectives from the Grassroots”. It can be a short event (e.g. half a day) or it can happen over 2–3 days. It can be for a big group or a small group, depending on the topics and the format of the gathering.
