Opatija | call for culture and green activism creative proposals

Competition for artists and all interested creative persons, experimenters and changemakers, to contribute with their innovative ideas to the development of creative content in the culture of Opatija, Croatia in order to support them in influencing qualitative changes in society in the field of environmental conservation and the “zero waste” concept in tourism.

Žmergo Association, in cooperation with the Youth Council of the City of Opatija, invites artists and interested developers to apply for cultural projects within the framework of the OKIZA 2019 program (Opatija culture and green activism), part of the Opatija initiative of the program line 27 neighborhoods, part of the Rijeka 2020 - “European Capital of Culture” project.

The OKiZA program (Opatija culture and green activism) is being implemented within the framework of the Opatija initiative of the program line 27 neighborhoods, part of the Rijeka 2020 - "European Capital of Culture" project, coordinated by Žmergo Association.

The most interesting project that the jury and the audience will recognize as the most useful for the community will receive the financial support of €2,000 (gross) in order to realize it in Opatija by June 2020 at the latest.

DEADLINE The contest is open for applications until November 11th 2019 (up to 2 pm).
