Overseas Research Programme for leaders in performing arts in Hong Kong

Co-organised by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC), the Overseas Research Programme for leaders in Performing Arts is now open for applications.

Under the Programme, local performing arts leaders will gain global perspective and exposure through self-planned learning options, and return home with new ideas and insights that will make a real difference to Hong Kong's dynamic arts scene and the development of the West Kowloon Cultural District.

The overseas research may take the form of research visits or attachments to overseas arts organisations, attending overseas residence programme, master class or training course.

Artistic and administrative leaders of local performing arts groups may submit application for the programme by 11 May 2012, detailing clear objectives of their training/ research proposals, outline of the training/ research activities and budgeted expenses.

Interested parties can obtain guidelines and forms for application from the ADC Administration Office at 14/F, East Warwick House, Taikoo Place, 979 King’s Road, Hong Kong during office hours.

Completed applications must be deposited in the collection box located at the above address by 6:30pm, Friday, 11 May 2012. Please mark “Overseas Training / Research Programme for Leaders from Local Arts Groups on Future Arts Development in Hong Kong” on the envelope. Submission by post is accepted if the postmark is dated no later than the deadline. Late applications or applications submitted via fax or email will not be processed.
