Produire au Sud film workshops | ASEAN / Asia applicants call
PRODUIRE AU SUD is a professional film-makers training workshop organized every year in Nantes (France) by the Festival of 3 Continents. In 2014, an additional workshop will be held for ASEAN film professionals in Bangkok. Open call for both workshops.The BANGKOK Produire au Sud workshop (October 23-25) is a 3 days local training workshop dedicated to emerging producers and directors from the ASEAN countries : Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
The workshop aims at familiarizing young professionals with a variety of important tools and international coproduction techniques by coaching individual projects in development.
The workshop will take place October 23-25, 2014 in Bangkok (Thailand). It is initiated by Produire au Sud/Festival des 3 Continents and World Film Festival of Bangkok, and supported by the French Embassy in Thailand and ASEAN.

Ø The Bangkok workshop will take place between October 23rd and 25th during the World Film Festival of Bangkok (October 17 - 26, 2014). Accommodation expenses are covered by the World Film Festival of Bangkok. Flight transportation to Bangkok could be sponsored by French Embassies, depending on funding availability. Applicants must contact French Embassies representatives for that matter.
The call for entries for BANGKOK workshop is open until August 11, 2014.

The NANTES Produire au Sud workshop (24-30 November) is open to film projects bearer from Asia, Africa and Latin America countries.
PRODUIRE AU SUD is a workshop focusing on the outline and structure of film coproduction within the industry. The workshop aims to familiarize young producers based in Africa, Latin America, and Asia with a variety of important tools and international coproduction techniques by coaching individual projects in development.
Six film projects will be selected to take part of the PRODUIRE AU SUD workshop which will take place in Nantes November 24-30 2014 in the framework of the 36th Festival of 3 Continents and in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Study (IEA-Nantes).
Ø The Nantes workshop will take place during the Festival of 3 Continents (Nov.25th to Dec. 2nd). Transportation and accommodation expenses are covered by the festival.

All ASEAN filmmakers (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) are welcome to apply and present their projects currently under development: one application allows to be considered to both workshops, in Bangkok and in Nantes.
