The festival Screen & Sound Fest. - Let's See The Music in Krakow, Poland is an international open competition for creating a film visualisation of distinguished Polish composers’ musical works. The project is a platform integrating artists’ visual imagination with the world of symphonic music.

The integral and most important part of Screen & Sound Fest. - Let's See The Music is a competition for creating visualisation to pieces of symphonic music by Polish composers that have been proposed and made available by the Bielecki Art Foundation.

The competition is an unusual opportunity to present, by means of pictures, own vision to symphonic music.

We invite people involved in the arts, dealing with visualisation on a daily basis to participate in the competition, but also those that simply feel music and want to express their way of interpreting sounds to others.

You may submit entries in any technique: animation, visualisation, film, your imagination is the only limit.
Participants of the competition may submit any number of entries using the music pieces proposed.

Six short music pieces are available on the competition tracklist for you to choose from.

Details of the participation in the competition can be found in the rules

More than 150 filmmakers from all over the world took part in the 1st edition of the contest.  The organisers have taken care to select a variety of music choices, differing in genre, mood and instrumentation.

Projects need to be sent by August 25th.

The final of the contest will take place in October 2014. Cash prizes are offered with a total of 40,000 Polish złoty (13,000 US dollars)
