Seminar in Singapore | grants for Swiss performing artists

None

Pro Helvetia has a call for applications for Swiss stage practitioners to participate in the Singapore International Festival of Arts through the programme Seminar in Singapore. Open to artists in Switzerland, aged up to 35, with some professional experience as stage director, performer, stage designer or choreographer.

The programme «Seminar in Singapore» offers up-and-coming young stage practitioners a platform for in-depth exchange in both theoretical and practical fields. Young artists from several countries are selected and given the possibility of participating in an intensive week of discoveries: accompanied by a coach, they will watch and discuss a wide variety of performances, meet professional theatre practitioners from all over the world and take part in debates with artists, critics and specialists of the performing arts who are attending the Singapore International Festival of Arts.

Pro Helvetia offers three Swiss dance and theatre practitioners the possibility of participating in the Seminar, which takes place in Singapore from 1 to 7 September 2017, all expenses paid. This call for applications is addressed at artists up to age 35 who already have a record of some professional experience with their own projects as stage director, performer, stage designer or choreographer.

Those interested can apply in English only up until 22 June 2017
