Submissions Now Open | Edinburgh International Film Festival

Submissions for the 2014 Edinburgh International Film Festival are now open. Successful submissions will be showcased before public and industry audiences at the 2014 edition of one of the world’s most respected film festivals. What better way to start your new film on its path in life?

The longest continually running film festival in the world, EIFF is now preparing its 68th edition. Over the years, the Festival has continued to bring UK audiences ground-breaking and exciting films from around the world. EIFF seeks to represent the most innovative and adventurous developments in world cinema, to bring worthy filmmakers to local and worldwide attention, and to provide a forum for appreciative and informed discussion of their work. EIFF is especially interested in films by emerging filmmakers whose work manifests stylistic boldness, strength of form, and the ambition to use the medium in a way that resists cliché.

Filmmakers are invited to submit their films in two ways - online via partner website Withoutabox.com, or by downloading the EIFF postal form.
