Sweden | Ice Hot Nordic Dance 2026 Artistic Programme

Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform, which takes place in Stockholm, Sweden, 1–4 June 2026, is calling for applications from both emerging and established names of Nordic contemporary dance and choreography to presenters, programmers, and other professionals from all over the world.
The 2026 theme is the concepts ’Coexistence’ and the aim of Ice Hot Nordic Dance is to increase international touring and other working opportunities of Nordic artists, and to help communities to share ideas and connections.
Artists can apply in one of the following categories:
- Live, full-length performance (1 production)
- More More More presentation (1 or several works)
All selected artists and companies will be offered tailored coaching services in connection with their participation in the Stockholm 2026 platform.
Eligibility
Applications are accepted from professional artists or companies living in or receiving support from (or who have nationality from) one of the Nordic countries: Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Åland Islands.
Support
Ice Hot Stockholm will compensate for the performance counting in the travel days, performance, and side costs. A compensation will be paid also for the More More More presentation.
For those travelling from outside the Stockholm capital area, Ice Hot Stockholm will also cover up for 2–4 night’s stay, accommodation, per diem and travel costs to Stockholm. In the case of selected artists/companies to the More More More programme, they will cover these costs for maximum of 2 artist/company representatives. Ecological ways of travelling are encouraged.
