Ties that Bind 2025: Asia-Europe film co-production workshop

Ties that Bind (TTB), by the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, is calling for applications from European and Asian producers to take part in the 2025–26 co-production workshops, which are held in Asia (3–8 November 2025) and Europe (26–30 April 2026).
TTB is the leading training programme for European-Asian co-production. The sessions will focus on script development, co-production between Asia and Europe, public and private financing in the two regions, pitching, marketing and distribution. They will meet leading Asian and European sales agents, funders and potential co-producers.
TTB will select 5 European and 5 Asian producers in feature fiction films, TV series or animation fiction films in development. They also welcome applications from European professionals interested in working with Asia such as sales agents, financiers, distributors, festival programmers, co-production market representatives, or European producers who wish to focus on their career development. They will select 5 career participants to be an active part of the group. In order to benefit from all aspects of the programme, they will be able to partner with project participants and attend the meetings with the experts and decision makers together.
Eligible countries include: Asia (Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Thailand, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia) and Europe (European Union and the countries that are eligible to apply for training under the MEDIA SUB-programme)
The participation fee includes the tuition costs, accommodation and subsistence costs during the workshop stay.
