UK-Russia Creative Bridge | grants call

The Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Moscow is pleased to announce an open call for UK and Russian cultural organisations to fund projects which aim to showcase contemporary UK arts to Russian audiences offline or online during the period of October 2021 – February 2022.

This grant scheme is part of the 2nd year of UK-Russia Creative Bridge  which is a professional development programme that aims to connect cultural professionals and artists in Russia and the UK and create new opportunities for both individuals and cultural institutions that desire to work with the UK arts sector. UK – Russia Creative Bridge is delivered by the British Council, operating in Russia as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy in Moscow, in partnership with a number of Russian cultural institutions, with funding from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. 

We invite arts institutions from across the UK and the whole of Russia that have a desire and the potential to realise international collaborations to take part in this programme.  Arts institutions including museums, galleries, arts centers, libraries, theatres, concert halls, cinemas and other venues; festivals, art fairs, event agencies; educational bodies and platforms, media companies and digital platforms. Applicants must have an interest and/or track record in international collaboration, and be able to demonstrate their ability to engage with audiences in Russia. 

There will be two rounds of applications, with the following deadlines.

1st Round: 2 August 2021

2nd Round: 29 August 2021
