Viet Nam | Da Nang Asia Film Festival 2025 workshop for filmmakers in Asia

Da Nang Asia Film Festival (DANAFF) is calling for applications from art-house filmmakers around Asia for its first workshop and project market, in Da Nang, Viet Nam, from 29 June to 5 July 2025. 

Coming back in its third edition, DANAFF would like to discover and nurture talented filmmakers in Asia. The activity is in collaboration with Autumn Meeting as extension of its well-known section Art-house Film Corner. A total of 5–7 projects will be selected by a committee of professionals in the industry.

Participants will participate in 4 days of workshop with experienced experts and mentors. They will pitch the project in front of professional jury and the best project will receive a Grand Prix from DANAFF. In addition, Autumn Meeting is seeking its continuing collaboration to grant an award for one selected project.

The application must involve a fiction project of a minimum of 70 minutes. 

Support

The director and producer of each chosen project will be sponsored with round-trip airfare tickets and  accommodation to attend the DANAFF Workshop & Project Market. (Eligible ticket for Director and Producer in the condition that the flight to/from Asia territory.)
