Yokohama Dance Collection | international choreography competition

Yokohama Dance Collection calls for applications from unique choreographers, artists who will stir up new waves in the world of contemporary dance.

Competition I 　Dance Composition Division is open to choreographers with a solid grounding in dance or who contemplate becoming a choreographer in the future.

The work submitted must have been choreographed in the last two years and be no longer than 20 minutes - see guidelines for all other conditions of eligibility.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to Yokohama to perform at the final in February 2014. Travel to and living expenses in Yokohama are the responsibility of the finalists.

A 200,000 Yen prize is offered, along with other prizes of residencies, performance opportunities etc.
