Korea | Cultural experts training programme 2024
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, along with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), are calling for applications from creative cultural experts who are interested in discovering and promoting their country's outstanding cultural resources through the CPI Cultural Experts Training Programme, to be held online and in Korea from 22 July to 13 September 2024.
In 2024, the programme will be divided into Intensive and General Areas. This year’s Intensive Areas are ‘Publication’ and ‘Cultural Products’, while the General Area is ‘Performing Arts’. The programme consists of online pre-training sessions followed by in-country programmes in Korea.
This programme is open to cultural experts currently working in relevant fields (who are residents of the target countries) and individuals interested in planning and promoting cultural projects that can contribute to the cultural development of their country.
Target countries include the following ASEM nations: Lao PDR, Mongolia, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines, and Thailand.
What is provided?
The programme provides round-trip airfare, accommodation, and a daily stipend of 40,000 KRW per day.
